Last night, the Devlink conference got started with a pre-conference speaker/VIP dinner at Stoney River Legendary Steaks in Nashville.  Very nice meal (perhaps not "legendary", but certainly some excellent food) with some very nice people.  They gave away 6 seats for attendees to eat with us too, and we had one of the folks sitting at the table with us.  The whole process of having a speaker dinner was excellent, and having some of the attendees there was a pretty awesome concept in my opinion.

They even gave us these picture keychains with pictures of the devlink logo, along with all of the sponsors.  Very nice touch.

Tomorrow the conference will start, and I will be attending three sessions, which I will summarize, including the venue, etc later today when I get home after the dinner where comedian Rik Roberts will be performing.  So far, I am pretty impressed by the whole deal they have put together without even getting there yet...
